3D Touch on messages

Does anyone know how to set up which contacts come up when you 3D Touch the message app. I have one contact on there that I rarely contact. And I can't figure out how to change it. Same goes for phone. Thanks

For the phone app, you go into the app and into your favorites and so on

From what it looks like to me, messages brings up the last few contact that you have either texted or have texted you. At least that is the way mine is working.

It will use Recent.

I am not seeing it make any real sense on which ones it picks. In my opinion it should either show the last 3 contacts, or allow you to choose a "favorites" list that is constant. I can't imagine that would be difficult to do, for both the phone and messages shortcuts.

I'm not sure how it is for everyone else, but it shows my last 3 contacts that I have tested.

I've just tried 3D Touch on the phone app and it comes up with 'create new contact'.
