If you need to press down harder on icons to use 3D Touch, you'd need more leverage on the phone. But I think the iPhone 6s Plus' unweidly size will start to bother some people. Take for example that camera icon at the top right corner. Not only do you have to wiggle the 6s Plus in your hand to reach that icon, but now you have to press down hard on it. I just feel 3D Touch made the larger iPhone just a little bit more difficult to use.

thats what the reachability function is for.

I was thinking the same thing this morning. I still haven't gotten used to using the 6+ one-handed, and I realize I do so quite a bit. I am really considering dropping down to the 6S for easier usage of 3D touch

...if you were only trying to use it with one hand. I don't think the 6+ or the 6s+ were made to be one handed, that's if you don't have big enough hands so you can use it in one hand lol. Thats why you had to choice between the 6 & 6+.

Uhm, move the icon.

I have thought about this as well. I spend a lot of time on my plus one handed. I think that time will diminish on my 6s plus.

I'm one of the lucky ones, I can comfortably use the 6+ one handed. Reachability is obviously very useful, but in terms of general use I don't ever need two hands.

I think people are overestimating how hard you will need to press. It's not a resistive screen remember.

I agree. I think people are getting concerned without even having tried it. Besides I don't think you have to press on the display as hard as some people think you do. Not to mention expectations of being able to use the phone one handed just sound baffling to me. A phone that size is designed to be used two handed. Granted if some people can use it one handed that's great for them but it's not going to be the case for everyone. I do use mine one handed for certain things but most of the time I use it two handed.

Weight and now extra force to operate the screen.
Total failure.

I don't expect the plus model 3d Touch to be perfect but I am excited for 9/25.

I assume it will be as hard as I need to press to force touch on my watch. I'm hoping I'm wrong, as that's pretty darn hard.

From watching the keynote I'm not so sure it's about how hard you press but more about how long you press. I could be wrong though.
