3G Back to Old Operating System

Ok, I tried searching but couldnt find the answer.

I downloaded the 4.0 on my 3G but it is super slow and want to go back to the prior operating system.

How do I do this?

I dont know how, but I agree. 4.0 sucks on the 3G

I want to do this as well. 4.0 is awful on 3G. If anyone knows how to do this, please help!!

Working well on my 3G. Did you restore from backup or create a new phone?

You'll have to roll back the base band. Not sure if that's possible yet.

Look up 'Download iPhone 3g 3.1.3 IPSW' or something similar on Google.

Restore your phone by Alt/Option + Click on the restore button, and select that firmware to restore it to.
