i have a iphone 3g 16mb that was jailbroken with ios🙄 4.1 baseband 6.15.00 is it possible to restore it to factory for the att Factory unlock and if so how?

Just restore it to 4.1 using a No_BB IPSW, choose set up as new, do not restore to backup.
ITunes will apply the unlock
You don't even have to restore to get the AT&T factory unlock. You just insert a foreign SIM and connect to itunes, a message will pop up saying your phone is unlocked on itunes.
