3G Battery Issue

I don't know if anybody else has had a issue with there battery showing full for 3 days and then going dead out of nowhere. I charged my phone on weds night and woke up and saw the battery still showed full.. But this is what the usage meter said on the phone. I thought something might be wrong but I didn't think my phone was almost dead.. I do calibrate my battery about every 2 weeks so I don't think that was the issue.. Has this happened to anyone else.. Maybe it's just a freak thing...

It would be great if this is how long the battery would really last.. 😀

I don't charge it and let it die on it's own. Then I charge it to full..

You're definitely calibrating your battery too often. At most it should be every month.

The frequency of calibration shouldn't matter.. Doing more often would be better than not enough...

That would be like saying I couldn't use my phone all day and having it die because I use it for business all day.. I shouldn't have to worry about charging it after everytime I use it with reguard to calibration..

I don't have a car charger and I'm not going to buy one.. But if I use my phone all day and then if it dies before I get home then so be it..

Uh, it sure does matter! Calibration is only for having a more accurate meaure for the icon or percentage. It has NOTHING to do with extending or helping battery life. The more you calibate, the worse your battery. These batteries are made for many short charges, not total charges. Anyway, I suggest you do some reading on the site and on Apple, because you risk messing up your battery (if you already haven't, since you are on here because of battery issue, correct?).

Doesn't look like a calibration issue, more like a software glitch. Calibration issues would result with the phone shutting down at random percentages. If the phone's meter doesn't move at all, it's a glitch.

Reboot the phone. If the problem persists, try resetting your phone's settings.

+1. I've had this problem once or twice - if you're getting unbelievable battery life, like still a full battery after a full day of use, reboot your phone - that's usually fixed it for me...until the next time it happens...
