3G Chicago vs. 3G Long Beach

In Chicago, 3G rocks! It is as fast as WLAN anywhere downtown. 😀

In Long Beach, CA I can't tell the difference between Edge and 3G... (well, actually, Edge appears to be faster at uploading pictures to Facebook!)

I can't even get 3G in significant parts of Orange County. 😡

The AT&T Quality Control Department (if they have one) should be fired.

3G sucks here in SoCal. I wen't to Central Cali and the Bay Area last weekend. It seemed like I had full 3G service everywhere I went.

ya i go down do san diego a lot and 3g sucks there, it's much faster up in nor cal.

I live just north of L.A. and the 3G is pretty solid.. dependable connections and 1.5mb download speeds.

just coverage in general. I'm always on Edge, rarely on 3g here in socal. But when I do get 3g it's pretty fast. So I don't think it has to do with larger populations down here.
