I just bought this one http://store.apple.com/us/product/MB125G/A?fnode=home/shop_iphone/iphone_accessories/cables_docks&mco=NTQyNjk the other day.... A little pricy but it works with the adapter that I got with my Capsule Rebel case. I have it plugged into my computer with the cable that came with my 3G iPhone. I have had 0 (zero) warnings and the dock works great. The remote is useless for me since I dont use the ipod feature on my iPhone. The only problem I have with it is the ringer gets a little muffled but all in all its a great dock, i also use the ipod adapter when i need to charge my ipod 5th gen.

Does it have a big round IR Sensor on the front or small rectangular... I'm also looking for a universal dock to use with my capsule rebel case. I figured the one above would work (used ~30), since I think $50 is way overpriced for a dock.

It has the oval long rectangular sensor on front just (like the pic). It works great, sits nice with the adapter that the case came with. I wish it would have been $30 or even $40 tops but oh well.
