3g icon by carriers name?

Is there supposed to be a 3g icon by the carriers name? Right now there's a blue box with a "E" inside it,which I assume means edge.

Yes that means EGDE and the is just a plain box that is one below EDGE

you have to click ur heals three times and say " there's no place like home"

check your coverage through at&t site and see if you live in a 3G area.
