What do you think you will get?

There are:
- Silicon skins
- Hard Plastic cases
- Clear film screen and backing protectors

Just a general discussion on what's to come. And this time around with your second iPhone what do you think you will buy for protection? Or will you have a case at all? Please include a URL to the case you plan on purchasing.

Personally I'm thinking both the front and back: http://www.zagg.com/invisibleshield/apple-iphone-3g-cases-screen-protectors-covers-skins-shields.php
The only thing I'm unsure of is the back film? Will it work right with the curvature of the plastic back on the 3G iPhone?

On my 2G iPhone I bought a 3 multi color pack of silicon skins from CrapShack and a front screen film. I'm not sure I want to hide the beauty of my iPhone any longer with the silicon. That's why I'm going with the change of case setup. Just worried a drop of the 3G will cause the thing to crack open unlike the rigidity of the 2G with the aluminum. Thoughts and plans for 3G?

The current iPhone case I have is rubber with a piece on the back for a swivel clip which I don't want.

I wish Apple stores would have cases on display so I could see what they all look/feel like.

I just want a nice case for the new iPhone, don't know exactly which one I want though.

I think this belongs in the Accessory thread. I also posted a nice list of all the case manufactures that I know of.

I pre-ordered the InvisibleShield. I want to keep it protected but the phone looks so nice I don't want its looks to be blocked by some crummy looking rubber/leather/whatever. The clear case is an option but in general they feel cheap. Hopefully the corners will stay down on the IS.

For me, InvisibleShield and Seidio (or similar) holster so I can carry it as close to naked as I can and easily access the phone.

I personally do not like carrying phones in my pocket.

IS will also make it less slippery and cuts down on finger prints.

I am a big fan of my case-mate leather case for the current iPhone. I swap between that, a beyza case, and an agent 18 case for my iPhone. For me, there's something about leather cases that draws my attention.

apparently the fuze is suppose to be ready for the 3g phone in the not too distant future and given how well iSkin has protected my previous four nanos (1g and 3g for me and my wife) I'm assuming this will be my case of choice as well.

my current iPhone has the best skin ever case. I went with Invisible Shield this time since I like the idea of free replacement for teh life of the device.

I'd see a plastci one on the Applestore that looked good...but then found Invisible Shield - that's the one for me.

Decal Girl

Hi
I have posted a similar question in another thread but didn't get a reply...
Let me try my luck again.

Any comments on DecalGirl's iPhone cases? They have a huge selection and
am sure I can find one that my wife will like on her iPhone :)

They are not cases they are skins and do little then change the outer image of your phone. Not really any protection but if your not accident prone and want to add a splash of color these can be nice.
