Apple doesnt write the summaries for those pages, its possible that the developer is anticipating the release of the 3G iPhone.

The OP makes a good point. One would think Apple would not allow something through which is incorrect. The reference to "2nd generation" and
"3G" iphones is glaring. These APPs are checked and double checked to ensure copyright, patent and any other potential liability issues.

Man, that's exactly what I was saying! It's amazing that got through! I was surprised! Apple doesn't make any type of statement on 3G and you would figure they would prevent excessive rumors on this topic, i bet it will be gone soon - or edited. I understand it was mentioned by a 3-rd party developer, but they look it over before it's put on the site, or at least you would think that's what they do...

Apple and partners have made several statements on 3G. They're fanning the rumor flames. It's not exactly rocket science, nor new news
