3G ipod battery question...

I have a 10gb 3G ipod bought last january. The battery will fully charge, but then will only last for about an hour or two of playtime. This is very recent. Last week it would play for a lot longer. Any ideas?

I had a similar issue with mine. I restored the software but that did not solve my problem. I returned it to an Apple Store and they kept it overnight for testing. It turned out the hard drive was bad and I received a replacement since it was still under warranty.
