d21mike macrumors 68040 Original poster Mar 26, 2009 #1 The 3G Network was down this AM but it did not auto switch to the older 2G Network. You had to DISABLE 3G to use your phone. This was confirmed by AT&T. So, if you have no service you may want to try disabling 3G.

Several of us had no signal so we called AT&T and they said they had a network problem and to switch off 3G. We are in Torrance, California.

eg2007 macrumors 6502 Mar 26, 2009 #6 Problems all morning and this afternoon here in Los Angeles. Turned off 3G and it helped.
