    Hey all,

I was just curious with some of the news from yesterday about the new 4G networks coming out if they are even accessible to today's 3G phones. That's always the issue with buying new tech toys. You pick one up today, and then it doesn't work with tomorrow's features. Just curious how this affects things.

    Thanks

I realize this is probably a REALLY dumb question, but I'm still curious if anyone has an answer on this one.

Naturally if your phone is not made for newer technology, it won't be able to access that particular technology. The new technology on the other hand, could have some sort of legacy setting that allows older technology to connect, but it will have it's limits...hence the creation and establishment of this new technology.
