Sorry if this has been discussed before, but is it resonable to assume the battery life of the 3G iPhone will be the same as being connected to WiFi with the current version?

It would take a greater hit on the battery than WiFi, or else they would have included it, no?

They specifically said they weren't including 3G last year because the technology was still improving and there would be better 3G chips in 2008 than there were in 2007.

So we can't make any guesses on this year's phone based on last year's choices. They're totally un-related.
