3Ghz performance (i know their not here yet)

Hi all,

No this is not another thread as to when dual 3Ghz Powermacs will be released, I was more wondering what the performance on this will be like? Any ideas? Will this thing fly? Big gains over 2.5?
Going back to the 3Ghz, do you guys reckon well see DDR2, PCI Express, or will be just see fatser chips based around the old main board e.t.c.
I'd rather wait than throw myself in and miss Tiger and get a Powermac thats going to be updated.

I was actually wondering more what the performance improvement of the dual 2.5 is over the dual 1.8's. Anyone know? I will upgrade my PM when the speed reaches dual 3.5Ghz or dual-core 3Ghz.
