3gs can't text pictures

How do I fix this problem. 4.1 firmware. I have the camera icon beside the message box. I put the picture in the message bublbe and got to text. All I get is an exclamation mark and the " message send failure " notice. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

You have to have a good connection to the internet. What size is the pic, that you are trying to send?

Also you might want to contact your carrier if it's still not working to make sure your account is setup correct on their end also.
