3gs (new) factory locked, upgrading and keeping old BB

I know that Gp will not work with my 3gs and that i have to wait for another JB from comex (for 4.1 or 4.2). I want to kown if i will be able to keep my curent version of BB and still upgrade? (like with iphone 4 - from 4.0.1 to 4.1 keeing the BB version so i can unlock it).

If that is not posible then the owners of locked 3gss are stuck at 4.0.1 posibly for ever... and that sucks.

Only way you can keep baseband on 3GS is to upgrade using a custom firmware. And, that requires your phone already pwned JB.

NO. In future, maybe, new pwned JB will come out.
