3GS - stocks, weather taking forever - wifi or 3g

Safari works fine, email loads quick - other net based apps working fine on both wifi and 3g.

But trying to setup stocks or weather sites is almost impossible though. It's taking forever to find the stock/city when I do a search. I'm guessing that those apps are hitting a very specific URL under the covers and the server for that is getting slammed with the launch. That said, I thought both were Yahoo based so that surprises me.

Anyone else having problems?

i can all but confirm it's on the server side - i still have my first gen and it's on wifi (as it's deactivated), same problem on it.

Stocks worked but weather is a no go. This is both on my 3GS and on my wife's 3G.
