Updated my 3GS last night to ios4 and didn't think much about it until today when I noticed no Internet access on 3G or edge. Everything else seems to work fine, calls and texts are ok. Anyone know where I should start?

I had this problem with the Golden Master. Had to erase and set up as a new phone to resolve it. According to Apple, this is caused by corrupt preferences in your backup file.
That is what you get for jailbreaking your phone.
Now set it up as new and give it a go.
Some have said that going to http://www.unlockit.co.nz/ and setting up a custom apn helped to get it working.

Really? My iphone isn't jailbroken, doh. Just a straight up upgrade to ios4 from itunes.
Yeah looks like this is the case. I restored and the internet worked perfectly, then I restored the backup and the internet stopped working again. So I'll just have to manually redo my iphone.
The same exact thing happened to me! Exactly like that with the GM, so I restored to a previous backup that I had that was about a week older than the most recent one(which was from right before I did the upgrade) and that did the trick.

i have been noticing that I have a 3G icon but can't connect to the internet.
I ahve to turn off 3G and turn it backon
