3GS Voice Control won't accept "no" if it gets it wrong?

Perhaps I misunderstood how I can tell my iPhone that it's wrong, but if I say... "Artist Sanctus Real" and then say "No", "Wrong", or "Cancel" right after that, it doesn't do anything.
Doesn't it say somewhere that you can tell it that it's wrong and it stops? I tried calling someone and then saying the same things, it didn't work.

It does misunderstand me sometimes, and I really hate it when it goes to call someone, I've had one particular guy nearly get called like 7 times LOL.

    Any thoughts?

My initial thoughts are to use the touch interface.

Yeah but often I'll use VC when it's in my pocket asleep, say I'm doing the dishes and my hands are a little wet or something :p

if you're trying to play a song by that guy, you have to say "play songs by Sanctus Real"

I know that will work, but say if I just want to say "Sanctus Real", if it hears me correctly it'll start playing, but what if it calls someone in my contact list?
I read I can say "No", "Wrong", or "Cancel" and it will stop... I don't want it to call someone. That's just one example of it misunderstanding me.

As far as I know there’s not a cancel command. It needs one desperately and a command for audiobooks and podcasts while they’re at it.

Voice Control on the 3GS is not very thorough to say the least. I don’t know how people with the VoiceOver-only iPod shuffle deal with it.
