AM looking at getting a 21.5 Imac and am considering bumping the processor up, not for the .3 extra ghz of performance but for the L2 cache, which is twice as large. WOuld this be a worthwhile upgrade? IE, would it make a significant difference in performance for things like video editing?

i really doubt you would notice a difference. i think if you want to consider upgrades, the best bang for buck would be a SSD

I agree, I highly doubt it will make any real difference

What exactly are you doing with this iMac that the you think the extra would make a difference?
