It has more RAM and a faster processor. Other than that, it's basically the same.

Does the 32/64 versions have the new screen to stop finger prints like the 3GS?

I have a 3rd gen 32GB. I don't believe it has the oleophobic glass coating. If it does, then my fingers are EXTREMELY oily.

How do SEE the differences between 2G and 3G? :| i mean with ur eyes. I know the hardware differences. Just so i wont get tricked if a noob seller says its a 3G while its just a 2G..

One of the ways is that the 2nd gen on the back of the case at the bottom has four lines of writing. On the 3rd gen there are only 2 lines.

    This review:

    http://www.ilounge.com/index.php/reviews/entry/apple-inc.-ipod-touch-third-generation/

shows a side by side of the backs of the Gen2 and Gen3. THe only differences are in the engraving.

"The back of the late 2008 iPod touch has four lines of engraved text, which sit between an “8GB,” “16GB,” or “32GB” badge and a collection of electronic certification logos. The engraved text starts with a serial number and ends with the words “All rights reserved.” By comparison, the back of the late 2009 32GB and 64GB iPod touch models has a noticeably smaller “32GB” or “64GB” badge, and only two lines of engraved text before those logos. The text starts with the phrase “Designed by Apple in California” and ends with the serial number. Otherwise, the units are indistinguishable from one another when their screens are turned off."

Haha. The picture comparing the 2 was helpful. I will keep that in mind.

Yeah you can add or edit things on the calendar. When my proffs assign something in class I add it into my Calendar on my Touch. It's great. I'm going to be getting a 64g in about a week (just have to wait for Future Shop to get them in stock). I could go to the Apple Store....but Future Shop is selling it for $399.

Thnks for deliberately avoiding the use of the search function on here, or going to the Apple website, or going to Wikipedia.

    Really. . . thnks.

Speaker is a bit louder. And the screen doesn't have a yellowish tint anymore (2G). Colors are more vibrant.
