3rd party apps on my new 1.1.1 iPhone

so I've been looking through the recent forums on using apptap for 1.1.1 but I remain undecided on whether I should hack and if the hacks are ready for the new update. I love my iPhone and I don't want to do anything that might hurt it especially with the SDK coming out soon. For people with apptap on 1.1.1: is there enough apps available worth the hack? And how much memory is taken up with the hack? Sorry for so many questions, but basically...

should I hack?
if so, what is the safest and easiest method?

AppSnapp is currently the best method, and IMO there are enough apps for it to be worth the minimal effort involved 🙂
