3rd party browsers problems

Hi. I'm on OS X Yosemite, and I'm experiencing some issues with 3rd party browsers. While Safari works perfectly, Chrome and Firefox only work for a few minutes, after which they stop loading pages (they just stuck on "loading page"). If I quit the application, the main window closes but the application remains launched and stops responding. I have to force quit it for a few times before it actually closes itself. This happens with both Chrome and Firefox. I have already tried reinstalling them and reinstalling OS X, with no luck.
Any ideas?

Chrome works fine for me, though I don't use firefox.

Create a new user and try running Chrome and Firefox in the new user account.

Create a new user and try running Chrome and Firefox in the new user account.

There are still some page loading problems in the new user account.

Never used Chrome, but FireFox (36.0.10) is my main browser in Yosemite 10.10.3 and nary a problem.
