I think it would be safer for your watch screen. But the downside is that most 3rd party black Milanese loops lose their color fairly easily. I’ve owned a few. The Apple band is much more durable when it comes to retaining the black color On the bottom side of your wrist that would rest on a table.
I had one with my aluminum S1 and never had a problem with the watch. The finish on the band started fading after a year and finally started breaking links after about 6 months. Currently using a fabric loop band.
Yea, but thats a silver ML? Not the Space Black one? Because the dark one is the one covered in DLC which makes it a lot harder and scratches up both the sapphire and the case.
I could ofc get a silver ML with my Graphite watch, but Im worried it will look a little off/weird. Same with Gold ML🤔?
I've never found a 3rd party strap that matched the quality of the OEM version. The ones I tried were always thinner and flimsy. I'm sure there are good ones out there but I've never found one.

Thinner isnt necessarily worse though🤔 that means is breathes better and is lighter on the wrists too?
Quality wise, I realize the official one is much much better, but it's also the one thing in the world that can ruin my new watch. Its like Superman wearing a kryptonite bracelet. Like: Why did apple have to cover the ML with DLC??
