Hi, I was looking for throughput test results for HDs, but it seems most of the hardware websites are no longer interested in HDs any more. The benchmark I can find all focus on SSDs. So I am looking for opinion here. Currently I have 5 WD RE4 2TB in my MacPro in RAID0. (I have an OWC PCI SSD as system drive.) I am close to filling up the 10TB space, so I am looking for larger drives. Here are the requirements, from high priority: 1. stable in RAID0 (so WD black and green are out) 2. throughput as high as possible (I am dealing with large files.) 3. 4TB, but 3TB is also acceptable. I chose WD RE4 2TB 2 years ago because they were the fastest 2TB drives at that time and they can be used in RAID. Now I can no longer find HD tests. Should I just go for WD RE4 4TB? Or there are other better options? Any suggestions? Thank you.
