Anyone else notice that the iPhone Steve was using for the demo has the leopard style dock?

I really hope that it doesn't make it into the final build. I think the current dock looks 10x better!

that's true, the old iPhone Dock didn't give as much of a 3D effect.

It's in iOS 4 GM... it's not going anywhere. I actually like it.

The old dock is becoming the multitasking "dock", basically.

its the look of the dock itself. 4.0 has a 3d dock like leopard while the previous dock didnt and was gray in color. functionally, they are the same.

The new dock appears to be the only advantage of getting iOS 4 on an iPhone 3G, because that's the only thing the phone can handle, so right now it's my favorite feature ;)

There is no always-on wallpaper in the 3G

    Unless you jailbreak it

I thought that was a bug in the first iOS 4 beta.

I compared the dock from the 3G to the 4G and I have to say the 4G is a lot sleeker. As said before, the new dock also gives the phone some depth. I like it a lot. :)

I know I just don't feel like doing it.. it's easier to bitch about it and wait a week for my new phone. :)
