Has anyone who's tested 4.1 with a car manufacturer's built in bluetooth audio system, seen any track info or album art with itunes or pandora?

What do you mean when you say that most car's bluetooth does not work with iPhone 4. Other than track info, and next/previous track, it works great in my infiniti. (Including bluetooth audio, bluetooth phone, address book download, call history download, auto updating on both of those, signal strength, battery level, auto on/off, and other features)

Track Info and next/previous track have not been supported thus far in iOS, and are supposed to be supported in 4.1

Are you saying that those two features are not working with 4.1 on any car mfr's bluetooth audio?

Whatever you're saying, what are your data points? And the reason you should have stayed away is what exactly?

Well, there's a HUGE thread on the Apple.com support forums indicating that a whole bunch of users have lost the ability to sync or otherwise interface with their car's BT systems since the release of iOS 4.

Having said that, these BT issues (failure to sync with car, garbled audio on the callers end, pairing issues) are like the proximity sensor problem - There many with ZERO issues and there are also many that are so frustrated they want to chuck their phone through the front glass of an Apple store.

Thanks for the info. Do you have a link?
