4.1 - Install as new or update?

Subject says it all - is there a preferred way to do this?

Some people say you need to install as new but I updated and everything is running perfectly for me.

i've been contemplating this as i think updating without startin a fresh i may have brought battery drain fron 4.0 with it but my main concern is my camera roll

I have always done an update for new releases.

I set my iPhone 4 up as new. Now, I'm just going through the 3 hour process of syncing 3500 songs.

Ok.. so if you were to do an UPDATE install instead of a FRESH install.. would that still keep your Jailbreak working?

If you have your contacts synced somewhere (Exchange, Outlook, Mobileme), you can re-sync them.

that's why we have a backup. install as new then backup

im not a fan of update

Oh I see..im probably going to go restore mine and set it up as new.
