4.2.1 Bashful Icons

Anybody else getting the "bashful icons" effect?

Sometimes it's impossible to drop an icon into a folder or onto or off of the launch bar. The icon will just "jump back" to it's previous position and resist the move. Kinda like magnets with the wrong polarity.

If you hit the home button then try again, it will usually work. Sometimes, you have to flip pages back and forth first before it will work.

I have not noticed this but perhaps just have not played with OS 4.2.1 enough to notice yet.

Some times in beta it happened. Just made sure I held the icon long enough to get in the folder.

I like the "bashful" term. Lol.

Yeah, dragging the icon a little slower made my icons less... erm, shy.

Overall, I've found folders to be even more useful on the iPad than my phone or iPod. The folders hold more apps.

FWIW, it also happened to me using iTunes to move them around, 2 or 3 times at most.
