After applying the 4.3.2 hack I no longer have the Personal Hotspot feature in the phone. Does anyone have a means to recover this so I can use either mywi or ATT? I'm paying for tethering service.

You're on AT&T and paying for tethering but the personal hotspot option is not available?

That is correct. I've subscribed to their tethering plan but the personal hotspot item doesnt show up under settings/network. I'm guessing at this point that something about the jailbreak is suppressing this - or perhaps the mywi install?

If you are paying ATT for tethering, why do you have MyWi installed? You don't need both.

Actually on the 3GS there is no wifi tethering capability, only usb/bluetooth so for wireless tethering I will continue to need mywi

Ah, a 3GS, a key piece of information to omit.

    I'd call up AT&T.
They might need to reset your accounts tethering access.

Well I finally figured the problem out. If you recall the early tether hack from benm.at that was the problem. It had created a custom AT&T Profile (Settings/General/profile) that was suppressing the personal hotspot option. Once I got rid of that profile, all is good.

    Oh, that explains it then.
    Glad it worked out.
