I agree 100%! Now the tone doesnt make any sense! And I dont always hear it now when Im in a noisy area. Really pissed about this.

Calypso when from a nice length to just 2 notes.
Choo Choo just went down to Choo which just doesn't have the same effect
Noir got cut in half for no reason at all
Typewriters got its speed doubled. when it wasn't even long in the first place
Anticipate, Minuet, Sherwood Forest, Update, all terrible and all too long didn't get any sort of cut.
Bah i'm sad now, all the other ones suck as they are too long while the others were perfect.

Apple really needs to allow custom SMS tones.
The only reason I jailbroke for awhile was to just have custom Tones, but when 4.2.1 came out I liked the Choo Choo sound. It is loud and not annoying.
Now that they shortened it to just Choo, I think I'll just have to wait to upgrade to 4.3 until a JB comes out so I can go back to customer SMS and email tones again.

It's about time these were shortened! I can now use nearly all of them as a text tone and I've switched straight to Calypso. Much better now.
anyone know what are the extra feature of iphone then other advance phone like nokia, samsung...? Why iphone is so expensive?
If you tried to buy the top of the line, dual core Samsung you would likely find that the iPhone 4 is *not* more expensive.
And Nokia does not make a device that is the equivalent of the iPhone 4.
Not slamming Nokia. I like Nokia quite a bit. If you want to take the very best pictures you can, then there is nothing like the Nokia N8. Not just high pixel, it has very, very good optics. It takes still pictures of a quality nobody else can match, and it also takes the very best HD video you could hope for.
But...do some Web browsing with the iPhone 4 while you're dong the same thing with the same pages on the Nokia N8. You'll see for yourself that the iPhone 4 is far superior...not hanging or hitching, and redrawing the pages perfectly every time.
Even the Samsung that costs as much as the iPhone doesn't use its processor time and memory as effectively as the iPhone 4.
This is great, I can finally switch off of tri-tone. Using calypso now, the new legtha are great, though some sound like they were cut off abruptly.
This sucks, i used typewriter which sounded fine and the length was good too. Now the speed is doubled instead of shortened and it seems like the volume on the tone is turned down, i can barely hear it. When i do hear it, it sounds retarded.
