I lucked out with my charger. You can see it in the video. Its from Philips. Got it at Walgreens.
I'm using a belkin 2-port (one is a high-output) and it charges the iPad with no issues.

I believe mine is charging when I play music and have the screen off (in standby). It is slower than the wall charger, probably like the USB charging from a computer or iPhone's charger.
But for regular use, you don't really need to be 'charging' it throughout the day because of its long life. In the case you need longer battery life, I'm looking at the external battery extenders(basically an external battery).
I wonder if the plane adapters are going to have enough juice to charge. Does anyone know the charging capacity/power for planes with the electric power?

Great IPAD mount!
This mount totally worked for me, Thank You. For the people that asked the poster is he scared someone will still the ipad out of the car & from my use of My IPAD in my car, thats just it with this mount that he or she did it simply just hangs over the bungie cord which makes it be able to be un mounted in around 2 seconds flat & so when you leave the car so does your expensive IPAD & I also take the face off to my new radio because I have been robbed before with those wonderful built in factory radio's that get your windows busted every time, So now I have an alarm & every piece of goodness comes out with me into my backpack. So for me nothing stays in the car for them to want. I would never install my IPAD inside the car permanently it must always come with me when ever I go yes it sucks, but thats why I like this mount so much is all you have to do is raise it up & fold the case to close & throw it into your backpack & that's it. Again Thanks for this wonderful Mod/hack How To!
