are old and tired and need to go away.

WTF really ?

I read all the time on these boards that my IMac or MBP etc. etc. is 4 years old and it's time for a new one.

Really ?

I waited 13 years until I turned in my old Dell XPS for a iMac last year . The Dell still works fine if you ignore all the viruses :)

I'm currently upgrading a 2011 and 2012 MBP with 16 GB RAM and SSD drives thinking these baby's got at least 4 more years of life or am I being rediculous and I should buy new stuff every 4 years ?

Is this how we roll now ?

I didn't get the memo because I'm living under a rock I quess :)
