Though my parents have already given me some of my birthday presents, they are going to spend an extra $40 (not just give me cash), and I'm trying to decide what I could ask for, and what better place to get ideas than the good old WWW.

What would you get if you had $40?

I'd save it...for 40USD, your not getting much. Maybe a video game...but not even a Wii/xbox 360/PS3 game...PSP or DS maybe.

A Logitech VX Revolution if you don't have a nice mouse. After the mail in rebate it's $40, which is a fantastic price. I have one and I highly recommend it.

I actually HAVE $40 to spend this weekend, i'm gonna be pickin' up at least two Led Zeppelin CDs, all CDs are on sale at Circuit City for Memorial Day.. then maybe a movie or another few CDs

Put in an ING or Etrade savings account. In another year you will have an extra $2 or so

But really, it depends on what you are interested in...
