403 Forbidden! when trying to install phpBB3?

Hey guys, I'm currently trying to set up a forum using the phpBB3 way in Dreamweaver, I tried following the installation part link and I get this error code when I type in the url using /phpBB3 at the end, I already located and uploaded my files...

Error code: The address you have entered is not open to the public,
(This may be caused by not having a index.html file in your root directory).

I already have an index.html in my root directory!?!?! 😕

Any help in getting with this to work please...

Make sure that folder has read permission for everyone. You should be able to tell from your FTP program.

Hey thanks for helping but sorry, how do you do that?

Anyway if it matters I'm using a Subdomain from Zymic and am editing it in Dreamweaver

I was using Zymic in Dreamweaver.

Apparently I managed to get it working by using FileZilla

But still don't get why it isn't working in Dreamweaver 😕

I assume that the version in DreamWeaver that doesn't work is hosted on your machine; to test PHP on a local machine, you need to be running MAMP.
