Is this it?

http://www.trustedreviews.com/apple/news/2008/01/03/Ultra-Portable-Mac-Pictured/p1

However long I have to wait, I can't wait that long! Very, very exciting. I'm really hoping for integrated 3G/HSDPA (and the US equiv... EV-DO is it?) and a half decent spec, but we'll see.

Loving the trackpad :D What does everybody think?

Sorry if this has been posted! I can't see it anywhere... which I find hard to believe if TR have it!

The large Trackpad there certainly matches Apple's patent for the large multi touch Trackpad from a while back.

fake.

old PB 12 inch keyboard, and ridiculous trackpad. I mean come on, that's just cartoonish.

And even if you bought the insanely large track pad as genuine, why is the mouse button so XXL for? Even more ridiculous

Its a fake.

I can tell from the pixels and from having seen a few shops in my day.

why are people saying it has the 12" PB keyboard? doesn't the 15" MBP have the same keyboard as the 15" PB and the 17" MBP the same as the 17" PB?

the ridiculously large trackpad is what suggests to me it is not legitimate.

There is no way apple would design something so utterly unusable. There is NO place to rest your hands! You'd be hitting the trackpad constantly whenever you type as well as the mouse button. If it didn't have such a ridiculous track pad, whoever made it would of had a better chance of fooling people, but as it is now, it has that one glaringly obvious (at least to anyone with any sort of common sense) horrible design flaw.

I don't see why people are saying that the shadows don't agree. It looks like a lams behind the two computers in the middle, so it makes sense the shadows are mirrored.

I agree, though, the trackpad is too big. Everytime you need to rest your arms to type, it would move the mouse...

That's old, fake. A good one, though.

I don't think apple would come up with something that stupid..

The trackpad button I mean.

Apparently that's been taken care of.

As previously suggested no matter how good the photoshop is, you simply have to ask yourself "would apple, the kings of space efficiency, put a trackpad button the size of a 1 liter coke on a mini book?" and the answer shall clearly set you free.

........as if the huge line down the middle of the button and trackpad didn't clue you in that it wasn't even stretched, it's just two pads together with a little blur tool.

You can also clearly see the flaws on the lower front closest to you where the chop went into the bottom of the book when you invert the image.

The icons are the same on both screens, as are the dock apps, and who in the world would need that much horizontal scrolling space?

Ridiculous trackpad aside, this is what I want to be announced. Just a smaller MBP.

I'd hope in the 3-4 years since the 12" PowerBook's introduction they could manage to squash almost everything from the current 15" 2.2 into this: full DVI, 128mb 8600, LED matte screen(1280x800), illuminated keyboard.

That's my dream machine :D Failing that I'd like the MBP to get a 1680x1050 res BTO, 256mb 8600 and 2.4/5 GHz, and 2.6/8 GHz with 512mb GPU in the high 15" and 17".
