Hurts only the wallet.

It does for sure. Even though it’s also stainless steel it actually feels lighter.40 looks perfect. 44 makes it look like a fancy gadget and may not work everywhere
Tell me more about the watch. I have the 3 and might upgrade this year. Does it feel less chunkier?

I checked the tech specs on Apple and it seems the 38mm S.S Series 3 is 42.4grams while the 40mm Series 6 S.S is 39.7grams.
It’s a noticeable difference in weight and comfort.
I rotate between three watches daily, and I can definitely feel the weight difference between my Aluminum (lightest), SS (middle), and Ceramic (heaviest) when I first put them on. But after a few minutes on, they all feel the same.
Same. When I got my SS, I noticed it being heavier. But now I switch back and forth between my Nike and my SS gold without noticing a weight difference.I rotate between three watches daily, and I can definitely feel the weight difference between my Aluminum (lightest), SS (middle), and Ceramic (heaviest) when I first put them on. Very nice!Alright my 40mm Hermès Apple Watch S.S arrived. It's amazing, the leather is soft and quality. The watch is light, beautiful watch faces as well. Lastly the main stand out is how fast the watch is, I can actually open apps on it and use it for more things than just telling time. In summary, the Series 3 I had before was too laggy and unresponsive to do anything more than just tell time. Meanwhile this Series 6 is fantastic.
