2 small leo issues I can't seem to find the fix for

#1- I get the little thinking wheel by the send items when I am sending mail, but I do not get it by the inbox when I am using the "get mail" option. I have no visual confirmation it is sending/receiving like I had on the previous mail app. How do I fix it to where I have visual confirmation?

#2- how do I make trash empty without confirmation?

I found it easy to fix these in Tiger, but can't find any switches for them in LEO.

In Finder, go to Finder on the menu bar, then Preferences.

Click Advanced. Uncheck "show warning before emptying the Trash"

thank you, but it does not show anything about send/receive.

I am at least hoping for the little progress wheel by the inbox like in the previous version.

any other tries at the send/receive issue? This is really one of my biggest peeves is being able to see it since i don't have my sound on most of the time to hear the boink. They show it o the send side when mail is sent I see it by sent items, but not under receive by the inbox. Weird as that is.

Hmmm . . . I'm on Leopard, and I always get the spinny thing. And I don't see anywhere in prefs to turn it on or off. This doesn't help you, of course, but it kind of mystifies me.
