iPhone 1.1.3 with Immediate Effect

May have already been posted, but loads of Keynote articles popping up on the net. Immediate effect of 1.1.3 update for iPhone to US, UK and Germany.

I've tried but up to now no update in iTunes.

Ditto. No iTunes or iPhone update for me. I'll have to check it tonight when I get back from work.

Still, no MMS. I get friends sending me stuff all the time (stupid stuff) and family sending pictures. What a disappointment.

I am very excited about this update, just wish the multiple sms would have come out before the holidays, so i didn't have to write happy new year to everyone in my phonebook i could have just wrote it once. AND I WANT ICHAT!!!!

I think i'd have to totally agree with you there.

iChat is a must along with MMS! I guess we'll get our nice third-party programs when they release the SDK in febuary

they blocked the itunes section of the apple website to stop iTunes downloads. Curse you work!! Curse you!!!!

Aargh - no copy/paste or MMS... quite disappointing update really (not interested in the locate me thing - which admittedly is a nice feature). Oh well hopefully 1.2 will come out at the end of Feb fixing these glaring holes.

It seems iTunes 7.6 is on the US apple site for download but not the UK one.

can you check that the mp4->m4r trick works with the new itunes and iphone firmware, or 7.5 itunes and iphone 1.1.3, cause, ringtones are a pretty important thing here and the ease of them that was 1.1.2 and itunes 7.5 is something i aint letting go yet.

forgive the noob question, but i just jailbroke my 1.1.2 OTB. Should I restore it before the update and try to jailbrake again?

(then would the posted JB instructions for 1.2 work on 1.3?)

All of my ringtones that I made with that method are still showing up on iTunes and on the phone.

It would be a safe bet to restore as a new phone before the update, just in case...

I'm certain 1.1.3 will break all App.Tapp users customizations again so what is there to look forward to?

Moving icons? been doing that since day 2

Approximate positioning in Maps? I already know where I am, thank you.

If you want the update I reckon you restore as a normal 1.1.2 (not 1.2 or 1.3) and update with NO jailbreak. Unless you want your iphone to maybe not work.
