I am assuming this has to do with the advent of internet phones and being able to find your house when dialing 911. It was a problem getting exact home locations in some areas a while ago (and some towns even still do not have strict enough standards in place for IP telelphones). Another poster mentioned on wifi his old address came up and on Edge it was correct - my guess is he moved and his ISP thinks he lives there still and has his IP addy assigned there still?

iPhone 1.1.3 with Immediate Effect

I finally got my phone updated after two failed downloads. I updated the phone on a different pc with success. No problems loosing files or reported access to gmail. I do have more storage taken up by other. Triangulation works great giving me a circle about 50 yards radius and my location is almost exactly at 1 o'clock. Triangulation will be my best friend when I travel.

im having a weird problem that after i respond in a text message, my reply goes before what they sent to me. so its like reversed. anyone having this problem? its really annoying

Boring update!
All in all it was just a bunch of not so important stuff! More fluf than stuff really. All the real flaws/issues/lacks of the phone were not adressed. Like mmm's Mail alerts, edge Vs 3G, camera stuff, You all know the rest.

I was watching a movie and noticed that when i raised the volume with the physical volume toggle buttons the speaker icon showing the volume appears however new in this update i noticed it has a label indicating i'm raising the volume on the headphones.
when i go to the home screen and do the same it tells me i'm raising the volume on "ringer (headphones)" when i take off the headphones on the home screen and raise the volume the label appears just as ringer. I don't think they had this before or am I just slow to notice?

1.1.3 is awesome. I love the home page customization and the locate feature in maps. I have already changed my home page by adding a bunch of safari bookmarks. It pretty much makes sense how Apple set up the customizable home screen figuring that the SDK is due in Feb. Then we'll have dozen of new iPhone apps to fit on various home pages.

The answer is no, you can't upgrade to 1.1.3 as it will remove the jailbreak, and your phone will simply ask for activation. People are working on a way round this as we speak, so all you can do is sit back and not upgrade for now.
