Handbrake The Simpsons Movie

Is anyone else having trouble handbraking the simpsons movie on mac?

You'll more then likely need to use MacTheRipper first to rip the files and then HandBrake.

I have had a few problems with Handbraking The Simpsons Movie.

Also, no luck with Rush Hour 3 and Casino Royale. Those two titles did not even work with MactheRipper.

I guess the studios are becoming more clever at circumventing the consumer's choice to use Handbrake and other apps.

You could try DVDFab HD Decrypter. It seems they frequently update the software to incorporate the latest copy protection methods.

The only downside is it requires Windows.

I can rip casino royal with MacTheRipper Beta 3 r14 just fine. It says its copy protected but rips anyway to a TS folder, then I hand brake it from there.

Most of the movies that I encode work fine with Handbrake. Once in a while, there's a movie that simply doesn't load in it.

When that happens, I use DVD FAB PLATINUM on my PC and make a full disk ISO image of the movie. Then I transfer that file to my iMac and then use Handbrake to encore it.

This has always worked. It's a bit time consuming but desperate times ask for desperate measures 😀

I bought the simpsons last night-I thought it worked ok but when it go to the part where homer is on the big piece of ice it hangs and the audio goes back to the start of the film where they are late for church. I ripped it with mac the ripper and am now trying to re-rip it with handbrake


EDIT-I got the same result using handbrake after Mac The Ripper-I know its the app because when I play it in a dvd app it plays fine-anyone else having a similar issue?

simpsons movie worked fine for me. make sure to rip the 1:26 file not the 1:46 file that HB defaults to.

I am trying to rip the Simpsons Movie. Selecting the 1hr20m but still having an issue with the audio being wrong at the beginning!!

Any ideas?
