42 MM SS Milanese June Orders

Mine is out for delivery! Says it should arrive between 9:45-1:45. The downside is that I'm at work. I used to have things delivered but we recently switched buildings and things are kinda confusing now with our mail since we're in a renovated space that has new office numbers. My wife works at home so she can sign but it's going to make for a really long day. At least we're on summer hours so I'll get off early!

Mine is out for delivery today, too. UPS says it should be here between 11:45 AM and 3:45 PM. By the time I eat an early lunch and take a shower, it should be about that time! I feel like a kid at Christmas today.

East Coast, USA here. Pre-ordered April 18th.

I lied again. They made it next day shipping. Arriving today. Flying from Denver to Portland to pick it up (tax free and I'm a flight attendant so #perks).

It's 4:31 PM and I'm *still* waiting for UPS to show up. The delivery window given on the UPS MyChoice website said it would deliver 6/2/2015 between 11:45 AM and 3:45 PM. That window has been missed by over 45 minutes (and counting) now. Go**amn this interminable wait!!! Wait, wait, wait... and WAIT SOME MORE.

It seems as though this damn watch will NEVER get here!
 
Finally got mine a few hours ago!

Well it has been fun guys. I enjoyed your company during this wait, but as it's finally over I'm signing off from this thread! Best of wishes to everyone still waiting! This thing is way cooler than even I thought it would be. I'm surprised and delighted by some of the things I can do and when using the thing for longer periods you realize how much potential there is for apps and 3rd party complications and all kinds of neat stuff!

I'm happy you got yours. Can't wait to have mine in my hands. Haven't been waiting long but it feels like forever
 
Since picking it up at UPS today I've been wearing mine for a few hours this afternoon but I'm not 100% sure that I like the Milanese. I have other dive watches with steel mesh bands that I find are more comfortable.

To me it feels too tight and not very "breathable" but if I loosen it I'm afraid it will lose contact with my wrist and not get accurate heart rate measurements or go into security lock. Also if I loosen it a little the case seems to flop over to the outer edge of my wrist.

I think with my traditional watches they have more pronounced curvature of the watch case and lugs that allows them to "hug" the top of the wrist. Also the mesh bracelets tend to have a coarser weave which makes them more "breathable".

Anyway, I have a couple of other Watch configurations on order so we will see which one is the best.
 
Mine did arrive this evening 6/2 at 7PM, not the 6/3 that Apple initially stated in their Order Status. It really is a beautiful and worthy upgrade from my Aluminum Sport with Fluoroelastomer Band. Went back to the Apple Store and returned the Launch Day-received Sport with no questions asked.

Used mine for a round of golf today with the Hole19 app. The app worked pretty well. However the Milanese bracelet loosened with each swing.

Nope not at all. I kinda give up checking. I'm going to just assume it will be here on the 16th and not a day sooner. I see no movement or updates from apple on my other order either.. I haven't been waiting long and I can't fathom a 45 day wait, but its just getting old seeing no change at all.

I know the feeling! I'd ordered my 42mm SGS on 4/15, and then on the 25th decided to cancel and go for the 42MM SS ML. Sitting at ready to ship in 9-11 business days with a delivery of 16th thru the 18th. After waiting a month and a half...I suppose 2 more weeks won't kill me.

2 weeks is really not long. I guess whats getting to me is the constant disappointment. I see that people are getting theirs shipped that have similar delivery windows, you go to check and you see "processing".. I'm just not checking anymore it's dumb

Haha I still check every now and then. I just figure if Apple really are shipping a few days before the time frame that's given on the order then I feel it will probably PFS or ship over the weekend and or Monday or Tuesday. At that point I'll start checking again.

Aaaaand it just moved back to June 12th.
