What are the chances that the late April orders (post-April 26) have been pushed back a month so that Apple can have the current production stock their stores for when they roll out the in-store pick up option?

I hope that isn't the issue! I imagine many will cancel their online orders and just pick up in store.

As a late order (May 2), I still haven't received an updated shipping time: still stuck in July.

I wrote in another thread that, if this were the case, I'd cancel my order. I understand that the stores do need to be stocked, but I cannot accept delaying production of existing orders in order to do so. I'd feel slighted enough not to even purchase the watch, at least not this iteration of it. However, even if that were to happen, we would never know - Apple would never admit to that.

SO instead of going thru each and every shipping thread, I though I would start one for this model and see what others are seeing.

I ordered on 4/23 for the 42 Sport WSB and recieved an updated shipping time of 5/14-5-20.

I remember a couple days ago it seemed like they were up to 4/13 orders.

Ayone have any updates on theirs?

Wow, lucky you!! I ordered mine ion April 11th and just today 5/15/15 received confirmation and shipping time of June 22 - 29. I'm so pissed!!!

So many other people ordered after I did and are receiving before me.

yes, but he ordered a white model- shipping much faster. my guess is you ordered a black model or link? Much slower shipping times. Just because people who ordered after you are shipping first doesn't mean they ordered the same model as you.

Well, I wouldn't cancel... I REALLY want this watch!

Besides, you can simply keep your place in line and check everyday to see if the model you want is available in store for pick-up. I assume that's what many will do.

42mm Black ordered 4/11/15

I am seeing a lot of orders from 4/26 and later and I placed mine on 4/11 and just today was notified that I have a delivery of June 22-29. I'm so annoyed!

Anyone else order the weekend of 4/10 and still have not received or have any better dates than me?

You're totally right, I didn't see which model he ordered.

Notice the exact builds of those models. The trend seems to be that 38s ship faster than 42s, and the regular models ship MUCH faster than the Black/Grey models.

While I do want the watch, I'd be too bitter to go through with buying it. It just seems like such a $-first rather than customer experience-first business practice to halt production on existing orders in order to stock store shelves. The reason I enjoy Apple products is that they are designed, sold, and repaired/replaced via customer-first practices. That's why I pay the premium for them over competing products, whether they be Windows notebooks or Android smartphones. But to basically put early orders on hold to get the product into stores quicker would just be too much for me to want the product anymore.

Again, Apple would never admit to doing that, so it would just be speculation on my part if it came down to it. I would definitely speculate, though, if they mysteriously pushed just about every un-filled order out to a "5-6 week" window and watches started showing up in stores in the middle of that window.

Ordered my wife's 42mm Sport WSB on 5/13 and was updated this morning to

"Delivers: 25 Jun, 2015- - 10 Jul, 2015 by Standard Shipping"

Ordered May 2, was shipping in July but changed today to 2-3 weeks, delivers 27 May - 3 Jun

It's actually happening!

I ordered my :apple: Sport, Silver with WSB July 7th in the afternoon. Just received this from Apple:

"Dear Tom G.,

Your Apple Watch Sport 42mm Silver Aluminum Case with White Sport Band is expected to ship within the next 5 to 7 weeks. (June 23 - July8)

When your order ships, you will receive a Shipment Notification email with tracking information."

Good news and I hope it arrives before my Pebble gives up the ghost. It appears to have some pixels dying.

Ugh Apple... Ordered my personal Apple Watch April 27th at 1am. Received my 4/24 ordered Watch this past week but am waiting for my buddies who ordered the SG that will receive theirs the ending of May so am tempted to sell it. In disbelief it won't ship until June 22nd since it'd be perfect for me to receive my personal AW within the next two weeks. Would prefer to have it a few days before everyone I know instead of a few weeks ;).

Just happened to be near my local Apple store- I had the 38 and 42 on order. Tried on the 42 and caned the 38 on the spot. Wow what a difference the 42 makes, my girlfriend said the 38 was better on a picture I showed her and said to go no bigger but after seeing the 42 in person she said the 38 looked rediculous.

ALSO- Take it for what it's worth but the employee there said he heard they will be shipping earlier than the new late June estimates.
