I have 42mm Apple Watch S3 and I want to buy the 38mm Milanese loop band because it will fits better to my wrist.
The 38 mm Milanese loop band will fit the 42mm case?

The 38 mm band is compatible with a 38 mm Apple Watch. The 42 mm band is only compatible the 42 mm watch. The band ports have different fittings based on the casing size.

Sure? I'm asking because I saw this video on youtube but he don't try it with the Milanese loop:

Interesting video. I personally have not tried it, every band may or may not fit the same. But what happens is, the the band will slide into the port and you will have a slightly loose fitting, because it does not sit even with the connector Because of the size differences. What can happen, is The band can disconnect from the connector and ultimately fall off your wrist. Some have tried in the past, and the Apple Watch broke because the band disconnected from the port. You can certainly try it, but its at your own risk.

If the 42 mm Milanese loop is too big, don´t you think the watch itself is too big for your wrists?
I am a man, but with 155 mm wrists, the 42mm watch would look humongous on my wrist. therefor, I bought a 38mm. If a 42mm watch band is too big for your wrist, you probably bought the wrong watch.

Personal preference? I have tiny wrists but crappy eyes, so I prefer the 42. I have no idea how it looks to other people, but it looks good to me! Dress it up, dress it down with cute bands.

I haven’t tried the Apple Milanese, but with third party Milanese, I have run into the issue that certain brands are too big. Others aren’t. So the OP might want to try third party.
