We have movement...sort of. I got an email saying that my payment method couldn't be charged. Must mean they were trying to charge me and send out my watch. XX:06:21 order time going to DFW.

As opposed to what? The "truth" that Apple conspired to deny a select population of macrumors forum devotees for the sole purpose of annoying them? Every supply chain can be constrained if the demand for the product overwhelms the supply of the weakest component. This isn't "dumb" or an "excuse", but merely reality. If Apple misses the self-imposed deadline, it will simply reflect an overestimate of production rates vs order rates over the periods in question (random made up example: # of orders between xx:04-09 promised by 5/27, units produced between 5/7-5/21 for the 5/27 deadline). No need to "come up" with anything. Chances are they were conservative in this estimate, hence the countless early deliveries of watches.

Tim??? Is that you???

Lets be realistic here, a billion dollar company set up unrealistic goals right from the beginning. Why not release it say in July?? They brought this upon themselves...

yeah, just checked my Barclay Card and no charge but status on Apple now says: Preparing for Shipment

My BarclayCard is still showing a temporary authorization for the purchase amount but I am showing "Preparing for Shipment" so I figure I'm good to go.

06:22 confirmation email
CC charged sometime after 1pm eastern today
Apple showing preparing for shipment!
No UPS info yet

Glad to see some movement.

If the pace picks up and catches up to 07's this week hopefully we 08'ers can get ours the next week. Just being optimistic.

What are you in the xx:08? Im smack dab in the middle at xx:08:34...and still nada, which is to be expected.

Charged! xx:06:42

42mm Space Gray Sport
Order Confirmation: xx:06:42
Status: Preparing for Shipment
EOD: No
CC Charge: 5/5 1145 CST
Delivery Window: May 13-27
Destination: Dallas, TX

DARN IT!

Unless some of you later xx:06-ers get charged/shipped this afternoon, my rough math shows that Apple is now delivering at an average pace of 29.94 seconds per day, which means that my xx:07:42 42mm SG BSB won't be delivered until Monday. (Actually my math shows Saturday the 9th, but I don't think UPS is doing weekend deliveries on these.)

Boo.

XX:08:51.
Shipping to Bay Area, CA.
Processing.

Getting so close but still a long way to go...

Seems to be going in somewhat random waves. From 4/28 - 5/4, they only covered a total of about :30 seconds of orders. Now on 5/5, they have covered :25 to :30 of orders today alone.

XX:06:18 preparing for shipment in FL

About how long does it take for preparing for shipment to arriving?

According to the flight tracker, UPS2997 (Anchorage to Louisville) landed 3 hours ago, Roughly 11:00 am central time.. An hour later was the wave of charges and "preparing for shipment" status changes. I know these theories are unproven and silly, but coincidence?

I am 00:08:15 and Chicago

Chicago for me as well sitting at xx:08:34. Here's to seeing some movement in toward the end of the week!!

Coincidence or not...its all we have to lean on! What else do you see in your crystal ball there for flights later today??
