Here's hoping that THIS xx:12:22 order is processed by Wed! I want my watch prior to the weekend. Actually, I want it prior to LAST weekend, but let's not dwell on the past.

I have been following our specific order thread and it seems that orders were going strong on 4/10 through 10 or 11 am EST (the most obviously in the first hour).
After that time order numbers fell off sharply for the next few days. Do you guys know when Space Grey orders started with a june delivery window? The SS version started to display "June" around 11am EST.
I don't want to squash your hopes, but wanted to compare numbers and maybe give you guys some pointers to estimate your time frames. I would suggest that both models are manufactured at their max rate, but SG was just a lot more popular and has received more orders than the SS BSB watch.

Yep. To throw a wrench in the works, however... I ordered first thing on the 10th. Two weeks ago on Wednesday an authorization showed up for the purchase amount. I thought here we go!. The authorization sat around until Saturday morning, at which time it dropped off. When I asked Apple about it, they told me that the authorization was a mistake.
Sigh.
So, everything should move from authorization to prep to shipped within 12 hours or so, and the watch should then show up the next business day, but the process isn't 100% foolproof.
is this 2 day shipping thing new cause when my wife got her watch they charged my card at 12:30pm and she had her watch the next day at 4PM.
What was the exact time of your order? When is your new shipping window?

I don't know exactly but I believe I looked back through the forums for that same exact answer (curiosity). If I am not mistaken, orders from about XX:20 and up (20mins from pre-order coming online) for SGS went to that next tier of June Delivery.

It all depends on the the time. Her watch shipped before the cutoff time. If she were charged at 8:30pm, she wouldn't have gotten it at 4pm the next day.
Had a dream last night that I got my Watch, but it kept slipping out of the band and so I spent hours wandering around my old workplace looking for it. I found it in a stairwell standing on its edge before I got back to a class that I was supposed to be in (which had turned into a Christian worship service which is weird because I a) am not religious and b) work for the government) several hours late. Very stressful dream to have right before you wake up.
When I checked this morning, however, no change to my status.
So funny you mentioned this cuz I also had a dream last night about the watch! Finally UPS was knocking on my door and when I got the box it was very light weight and had been opened, when I put my hand inside the box there was nothing in it! Someone had stolen my watch! Lol awful dream.
I got my watch the night before I went on holiday, and loving it so far. Just arrived back at work and hope to be giving it some proper testing this week. Just wanted to check in with you guys and let you know I am still supporting you all.

I was visiting CA from WI on the pre-order day. Had gotten up at 2AM on Thursday to fly to CA and with the 2 hour time zone loss I had been up almost 24 hours. Set an alarm and tried to stay up but I fell asleep...jolted awake and ended up ordering at 1:20AM CA time on 4/10. My order initially said June but was changed to May 29th - June 11th a day or two after April 24th. I had originally hoped it was going to ship a few weeks early but after seeing this thread it appears they are shipping a few days early....hoping production continues to ramp up.
It's fun following along. Thanks!

Friend of mine with a SS with BSB just got confirmed for his order shipping and he ordered at 5:00 AM EST. Dammit!

My order was processed by Apple at 12 minutes past live on the 10th. My shipping window hasn't budged, to be clear, and is May 13 through the 27th. I just thought that perhaps things were moving along when I saw the authorization hit my account, because just prior, my wife's went from authorization to prep to shipped in about 4 hours or so.
Turns out I was wrong. Boo. Also turns out Apple authorized my card early by mistake. Double boo.
Oh wow. This would explain why SG watches are still within the first 10 minutes of pre-orders. There must have been a HUGE amount of orders for those.
If we assume same production and stock amounts: SG sold as many watches in 1 hour as SS (BSB) did in 8 hours. Assuming different stock & production levels it is still safe to assume that at least twice to four times as many SG were sold.
when did apple try to charged you . sounds good because I'm from Boston ma I ordered at xx:10 I don't know the secs
Are the UPS flight arivals tied to card charges
Yesterday there were 8 arrivals at Louisville UPS. all before noon. I am using this link to get this data. http://flightaware.com/live/findflight/PANC/KSDF/ and we got a flurry of charges starting Sunday evening which has now stopped. There have been no more arrivals there since then.
So do we have to watch for more flight arrivals before we get another wave? Or are there other UPS hubs that I should be looking for?
Since we almost got into the XX:10 yesterday I am hoping my XX:10:36 is in the next wave. And I am hoping that wave is today.
