42mm Space Grey May 13 - 27

Does anyone know how long it typically takes to ship once your order reads "preparing to ship?" Forgive me if this has been answered before as I could not find such an answer in previous posts.

My order switched to preparing for shipment yesterday evening.

I think it varies and depends but I also waiting like you, but from similar past threads maybe can see status change to ship before end of day, but if any one reading this with last night PFS let us know when u get status change
 
I need some advice... I'm at college right now but will be leaving to go home next Wednesday (May 20th). My order went through at minute 14... I'm debating whether or not to change my shipping address to home or if I'll be able to get it here at school before I leave next week.
 
Got charged last night and has been "Preparing For Shipment" since....coming to Northern Virginia. Anyone have idea how long the gap is between PFS and when it's actually shipped?

I would change it to be on the safe side, the last thing you want to do is go chasing it around finding it at school... Gotta give it 2 days to ship and there only on XX:11...play it safe and change it

there is no precise gap time but can expect before ups end of day time

My advice (2 cents worth) would be wait and see how it goes between now and Friday morning. If you are not charged by then, I would change the order to reflect your "home" address. All Friday cards that are charged prob go out on Mon, with delivery Tues or Wed.

I'm guessing that the xx:14:xx orders will ship by Saturday, but the safest bet would be to change address.

It looks like UPS is allowing the recipient (us) to perform package intercepts without the senders (Apple's) approval. You can change the delivery destination once it has been processed and a tracking number has been generated.

If the delivery location is being changed to a different city, state, etc... you are likely looking at shipping delays of a couple days.

Since it can still be changed after it ships, I'd just wait and see.

you might not have to wait for a wave for your time, you can be the few that sometimes get charged on daily basis but not waves just few seconds of movement

I don't know but if I were a betting man I'd wager that it looks good for at least shipping by end of week.

Agree. I just hope they are SHIPPED on Thursday to receive on Fri. Which means these need to be charged by midnight(ish) tonight IMO. Otherwise, theres a few more day wait to what has been an eternity (open to perception....of course).
