still shows delivers between May 13-27.

I honestly don't expect it until the 27th.

Apple Watch. Available for 2 month backorder on April 24th...

Should be fun.

Some of the initial excitement, which is pretty intense here, will have worn off.

BTW: I have absolutely no idea what i'm going to do with it 🙂

I think I will have to agree now. The hope has died and I think its because no one has any crazy ideas of why I can strap an Apple Watch to my wrist earlier than May 13th.
 
Sorry to waste space (no pun intended) just can't help but feel like something is missing here.

I'm in the wrong group. I woke myself up at 2 am (est) and was ready to order for the whole hour. I didn't move from my computer the whole time. If Apple had told us that the app users would a 10 minute head start, I would have been in at :01 and my order page would say preparing to ship and my payment would have gone through already and I would be sitting here pissed that the stand I ordered wouldn't be here until May instead of feeling depressed watching others get excited about credit cards being charged.
 
Ordered my 42mm SG at 12:03, hit the button stating 04/24-05/08, got the confirmation email at 12:04:39 stating this later May date range. Double checked to make sure I had a 42mm cost me weeks. I have seen a couple people with a later order and confirmation time than mine, quoted with the 04/24-05/08 range, now with a change to Shipping. Go Figure???
 
I agree, not a lot of consistency regardless what you read.
I have a 42mm SG black band and ordered using the Apple Store App.
3:07 time with 5-13 - 5-27 range.
FWIW, the App did not go live for me until 3:04.

Not exactly because the app didn't work for me until 12:03 ordered by 12:04....I had the April launch date but when I got the email it said may
 
If only we could all send our heartbeats to one another right now we could feel that everyones is racing with anxiety.
 
Quick tip about the Apple Store app. My friend and I were both ready at the same time at 3:01am to place the orders for our Sport SG 42mm on the Apple Store app. We were both using an iPhone 6 plus, I was on wifi and my friend on cellular data. We had saved the watches under favorites so we could go in and just place the order quickly. At 3:01EST I was still getting the 'store is unavailable' message. I kept closing and opening the app but still unavailable. At 3:02 my friend texted me that he got his and sent the order confirmation. I was freaking out so kept closing and opening the app but still nothing. I decided to switch off wifi and go cellular data and bam! the Apple Store came up. But by then it was too late (3:04). May 13 date for me and April 24 for my friend. I was on comcast wifi he was on a At&t LTE. I have to assume that comcast (or my device itself) did not refresh DNS and caused the delay for me. Next time I might just use cellular connection or flush and register DNS just prior to the stores launch. Hope this helps for :apple:Watch 2.

I was a 12:05 email confirmation. Had the 4/24-5/8 window @ order screen, 5/13-5/27 @ confirmation.

No movement yet. I don't expect it Friday, but I do think I could see the watch by the end of April.

I originally had the 38mm SP saved as my favorite but decided during the apple store dead period to get the 42mm one due to battery life. I wasted about a minute to go through the app to find the watch before ordering. Doesn't seem like it did any good. I don't think anyone has gotten a sub xx:04 confirmation.

I too am in the May 13-27 group and I fully expect to get mine no earlier than May 27th.
 
42mm Space Gray Apple Watch Sport

I ordered the 42mm Space Gray Apple Watch Sport. Received email confirmation at 3:06am EST (I believe the order went through around 3:05am EST, but I am not 100% positive). I am shipping the watch to my Bloomington address. Have not received any pending charges nor a shipping confirmation yet (pending status still). Hope to see some sort of movement before Friday. I feel that Apple overestimated the shipping dates, obviously, in order to have customers receive their product sooner rather than later. When I preordered my Space Gray ATT 128GB iPhone 6 Plus, I received it on September 25, 2014, even though my 'shipment date' was early/mid October. I hope we all start seeing good signs and some movement, but since this is a brand new product launch, expect the unexpected. 😎
