Apple is a global business. They don't think small. if they were planning to give US priority they would have only launched US in the first wave.
If anything, they would prioritize by level of demand. And I'm willing to bet that demand is highest in Apple's home country of the US.
That being said, based on the posts in threads like this one it seems that other countries are getting the same level of priority, particularly the UK and Canada.

I'm also in Florida (Fort Lauderdale) and received confirmation at xx:05:56 and still nothing either, don't feel bad. I'm sure they will get to us soon. I have found two others on the forums both in the same city and same exact checkout time, down to the second, and no movement for them either.
Uk order here, by the time I had changed (was going to order to my Canadian address) email came through at 3:15edt!! Does this mean I'll be at the back end of the 2nd batch? I didn't think it would be so strict as to a :06 order receiving product before a :15 order Does it look like this is the case?

To add to further speculation, a friend of mine's status went from processing to out for delivery. skipping a step. He was also not charged until the day after he received the watch!

I got charged and shipped yesterday for delivery tomorrow! Should be very soon for you, if in fact it's about location.
What is everyone's guess at when we will actually see our watches? I'm thinking either this Friday or maybe earlier next week next time.
Well there could be. The fact that there was one on Sunday morning means that they may very well come in big bunches. We just don't know how often those bunches might come. Keep your eyes open, folks.

You have to check your email header. Your email client might say "show source" or "show headers". Otherwise you can forward the email to yourself and it will usually show you the seconds in the forwarded message.
